Hotels in Nottingham

Recently, Nottingham has experienced a growth of major hotel chains coming to the city due to it’s popularity with business and leisure tourists alike. This means high quality places to stay and great value for money hotels.

If you’re looking for a more unique feel, we have some excellent boutique four star hotels and some great value three star hotels in Nottingham that are independent from the major brands.

Nottingham attractions

Of course, most people will associate Nottingham Castle with the city but there’s a whole lot more to see and do too. At the NCCL Galleries of Justice and the City of Caves, actors bring to life some of the city’s intriguing history.

On the outskirts of the city, you’ll also find Wollaton Hall, Gardens and Deer Park a magnificent Tudor mansion that is also home to an Industrial Museum and Natural History Museum.

In the evening, you can catch a show or a gig at some of the excellent entertainment venues available. For theatre and plays try the Royal Centre or Nottingham Playhouse whilst for the latest in major headline acts you can try Nottingham Trent FM Arena. Also look out for outdoor theatre at Nottingham Castle from June through to mid August.

Shopping in Nottingham

Fashion lovers should first head for Paul Smith's flagship store on Low Pavement. We've an impressive number of other global designers, including Kurt Geiger and Ted Baker. Nottingham's packed with independent stores, trendy cafés and salons. And in our compact city centre, you can go from designer to the best of the high street in just a couple of steps.

One of the best shopping destinations in the UK without a doubt, you’ll find all the major brands as well as designer boutiques and independent retailers. In fact there’s so much to see and do that Nottingham has it’s own city breaks website where you can find out much more on where to stay, what’s on and places to visit.
